Responsibilities:
- Coordinates clerical activities with leadership, staff, co-workers, departments, physician practices and other healthcare providers. The Unit Secretary is the focal point of communication for the acute cardiac care unit and performs routine duties within the limits of documented training and this job description. The techretary may also assist with patient care duties such as patient bathing, dietary needs, and transport. All work is performed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing Program preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Tech preferred.
- BLS certification obtained within 30 days of start date required.
